Return to Nairobi to experience two inspiring women’s enterprises. Kazuri has grown and today has a large work force skilled in the making of handmade jewelry that is sold in upscale boutiques around the world.  Then, head to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to meet your adopted baby “ellie”.  Hear from their keepers, who know each infant’s personality. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Village visit & Amboseli National Park

Today will live in your memory forever. Visit the viilage home of the women was she is receiving her tank. Witness the recipient’s joy at finally reaching her goal, and her gratitude that her family will have access to clean water. Thanks, in large part, to you. Tears flow, a delicious home made Kenyan feast is served, and spontaneous dancing and singing erupt.  Before saying goodbye to your new Kenyan friends, you’ll have the opportunity to buy hand made crafts for souvenirs.

Continue to Amboseli National Park, home to one of the greatest elephant populations in East Africa. Towering above the park is Mt Kilimanjaro; although located in Kenya, Amboseli affords the best views of Africa’s tallest mountain. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner.
